This is really the only official biographical info we have for Ann:
"Ann Hansen lives on a farm near Kingston, Ontario. Formerly the co-owner of a cabinet-making business, she is now a freelance writer."
Not exactly the stuff from which the memoirs of urban guerrillas are born, huh?
Well, don't let the modest bio fool you. Not every cabinet-maker you run into has stood trial and been sentenced to life in prison for blowing up a cruise-missile component factory, have they? Or maybe they have? I don't know many cabinet-makers come to think of it. Anyways ... Ann Hansen was part of Canada's small, but militant guerilla movement of the 1980's. Her memoirs, both printed and now recorded via G7, pose important and unresolved ethical dilemmas in a time of resurgent militant protest and action.
A pretty cool lady. Just don't let her near your cabinets. Hardy har har.
